Countryside Day School is seeking an AMI-trained Assistants to Infancy / Toddler Guide to join our community in Northbrook, Illinois. We are open to hiring immediately, this summer, or by Fall 2026 for the right candidate.
Founded in 1967, Countryside is a non-profit, ISACS-accredited Montessori school serving children from 16 months through 6th grade. Our campus sits on four acres in the northern suburbs of Chicago, and all lead teachers are AMI trained. Montessori integrity, continuity, and depth of practice are core to who we are. We have been deeply grateful for our long-standing partnership with AMI’s Montessori Center of Minnesota (MCM), which has allowed us to offer both 0–3 and 3–6 AMI training on our campus, enriching our community and strengthening Montessori practice school-wide.
Our faculty is a highly professional, collaborative, and joyful group of educators. We work hard, we think deeply, and we genuinely enjoy one another. The average staff tenure at Countryside is 10–15 years, with many faculty members serving far longer. Our community is defined by grit, agency, creativity, collaboration, initiative, empathy, and a shared sense of humor!
Compensation & Details
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
- Starting salary range: $60,000–$65,000
